Europe-Bound Gas Dips, But Oil Prices

COMMODITIES
Elsewhere, Europe-bound gas is lower again following confirmation of the return of Nord Stream 1 gas flows into Europe. Nominations data from this morning shows orders amounting to ~20% of the pipeline's capacity, quelling concerns that the planned maintenance period over the past three days would extend into next week. Crude oil prices, however, are bouncing off the week's lows, with WTI prices making gains back toward the $90/bbl handle having printed $85.98/bbl on Thursday.
  • WTI Crude up $2.63 or +3.04% at $89.19

  • Gold spot up $6.88 or +0.41% at $1704.03
  • Copper down $0.05 or -0.01% at $340.1
  • Silver up $0.14 or +0.78% at $17.9445
