A range of trades over the course of a session that saw a sell-off across core FI and rates markets. This included vol buying: we saw Short Sterling Dec20 midcurve par straddle bought (after a steady decline in price over recent weeks to new lows, see chart).

EGB options flow included:


  • DUU0 112.20/40 call spread vs 111.80 put, sold at 1 in 1k, 10k total
  • DUU0 112.00/111.90 put spread sold at 1 in 5k
  • RXU0 176.50/176.00/175.50/175.00 put condor, sold at 10.5 in 3.9k
  • OEU0 134.25/134.00 put strip bought for 2.5 in 4.5k. Hearing short cover
  • OEU0 135.50 call bought for 7 in 6k
Short sterling option flow included:
  • 0LZ0 100^, bought for 14 in 1k
  • LH1 with LM1 99.75/99.87/100c fly strip, sold at 10.75 in 4k
