Exxon Mobil Consortium Reach Peak Liza Unity Production in Guyana

An Exxon Mobil led consortium in Guyana has achieved peak production of 252,000 bpd from its Liza Unity production vessel, Exxon officials said on Wednesday.

  • The group expects to start a fourth project in the region next year as they look to continue boosting production. It currently has three projects operational.
  • A sixth project, called Whiptail, was recently sanctioned, and is expecting to begin output by the end of 2027. It would bring the group's total output capacity in the country to 1.3 million barrels per day.
