ExxonMobil Gravechon Strike Threatens French Fuel Supplies

The strike at ExxonMobil’s Gravechon refinery in France is hampering fuel production according to the company.

  • “The site is operating day-to-day, depending on how often materials can be delivered,” Exxon said. “A blockade has made it difficult to get important materials into the site, which could affect critical energy supplies to northern France.”
  • Exxon gave a similar message last week over fuel shortages as a result of the strike over the upcoming closure of the chemicals sector of the facility.
