Familiar Themes At Work

MARKET TALK

A very tight re-open after Tuesday heralded fresh all-time highs for the S&P 500 index, as the Tsy curve flattened and DXY registered fresh cycle lows. There has been little fresh of note on the news front over the past 24 hours, with familiar themes at work.

  • There is little to rock the boat on the Asia-Pac docket on Wednesday, outside of the latest monetary policy decision from Bank Indonesia. 20 of the 25 surveyed by BBG look for no change in rates, while the remaining 5 look for a 25bp cut.
