February Industrial Production Due Today

ARGENTINA
  • February industrial production and construction activity data will be released at 2000BST(1500ET) today. Industrial production fell by 12.4% y/y in January, while construction activity declined by 21.7% y/y.
  • Meanwhile, the BCRA expectations survey, published yesterday revealed that analysts see CPI inflation ending this year at 189.4% y/y, compared with 210% in the previous survey. Inflation is then expected to decline to 55.3% y/y by end-2025. Meanwhile, GDP is expected to fall 3.5% this year, before a +3% rebound in 2025.
  • March CPI data are due on Friday, with prices expected to rise by 12% m/m and 291% y/y.
