LOOK AHEAD: Fed's Beige Book release up next at 1900GMT. Leafing through the
most recent release (dated Nov29 2017), highlights were:
-Inflationary pressure rose as a result of higher construction materials costs
post-hurricane season. This fed through to higher transport and manufacturing
costs.
-Higher levels of wage pressure were noted in the professional, technical and
production sectors.
-Loan demand was steady to moderately stronger.
-Manufacturing activity rose in all districts, at a moderate pace in most.
