France Allocates All Offered Capacity to Germany in July Jao CBC Auction

All of the offered capacity was allocated in the France-Germany direction in the July CBC Jao auction.

  • For July delivery in the Germany-France direction, 409MW of the 410MW of offered capacity has been allocated at €1.38/MWh
  • In June, all 437MW of offered capacity in the German-French direction went at €2.56/MWh.
  • In the other direction, all of the 360MW of offered capacity was allocated at €24.70/MWh for July delivery. This compared to 369MW of offered capacity allocated at €28.55/MWh in June.
  • Germany July power base-load is currently trading at €75.41/MWh, holding a €23.59/MWh premium to the French market at the time of writing.
