France’s EdF to Install Less Turbines at 400MW Scottish Wind Farm

French utility EdF will reduce the number of turbines at its planned 400MW Liddesdale wind farm in Scottland after revising its plans amid site surveys and public feedback, the firm said, cited by Renews.biz.

  • The firm instead plans to install 59 turbines compared to 80 turbines initially planned.
  • The commissioning of the plant is not yet known as the project is in the early development phase.
