Freeport LNG Restart Pushed Back To Year-End

The restart of the Freeport LNG terminal is now expected around late-December, having previously been scheduled for mid-December, Freeport LNG spokesperson Heather Browne said.

  • “Based upon current progress, and subject to us continuing to meet the necessary regulatory requirements, we now anticipate that the restart of our liquefaction facility to be achieved around year-end”, Browne said.
  • The terminal was previously scheduled to start initial production from mid-December, while full production was eyed to commence in March 2023.
