AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Futures sit lower in early SFE trade, after tracking the Tsy
impetus overnight.
- YM & XM -3.0 vs. their respective settlement levels.
- Bills sit -2 to +1 through the reds, front end lags after yesterday's strong
rally saw aggressive bull steepening of the strip on front-loaded RBA cut bets.
- Focus is set to switch to domestic matters today, with Q4 current account and
net exports data, as well as the latest monthly building approvals print.
Although, these readings will be dominated by the latest RBA MonPol decision
(see earlier bullet for our full preview). The IB strip is fully discounting a
25bp cut at today's decision.
