Futures Track Tsys Overnight

JGBS

JGB futures meandered through overnight dealing, tracking the impulse from U.S. Tsys, which left the contract -12 at the close of the overnight session, a little off its post-Tokyo session base.

  • Local, and indeed global, headline flow has been a little limited since the Tokyo close, leaving pre-U.S. CPI setup, Fed-related whisperings, an uptick in crude oil and some U.S. Tsy market idiosyncrasies at the fore.
  • Today’s local docket is headlined by the latest liquidity enhancement auction for off-the-run 5- to 15.5-Year JGBs.
