Gazprom Flows to Europe Highest of the Year in July

NATGAS

Average gas flows from Russia’s Gazprom towards Europe reached their highest of the year in July – up 5.7% y/y and 12% higher than June according to Reuters calculations.

  • The jump was mainly prompted by the return of the Turkstream pipeline from maintenance.
  • The Entsog and Gazprom figures showed average daily pipeline exports increased to 91.5 mcm last month from 86.6 mcm in July 2023 and up from 81.8 mcm in June.
  • Gazprom's natural gas exports to Europe have reached about 18.3 bcm so far this year.
