German Innovation Tender Undersubscribed

The latest German innovation tender – combined onshore and solar PV capacity – offered 583MW of capacity, and was slightly undersubscribed, Bnetza data showed.

  • Germany offered a total capacity of 583MW and received 48 bids for a combined capacity of 564MW.
  • A total of 43 bids for a combined capacity of 512MW have been awarded at an average price of 8.33ct/kWh.
  • The previous innovation tender – held in September – was oversubscribed with 400MW of offered capacity and a combined capacity 779MW of submitted bids.
