German Solar PV Additions Slowed in April

New German solar PV capacity additions slowed to 1.04GW in April, down from 1.26GW in March and the lowest since at least one year, Bnetza data showed.

  • Solar PV additions for March have been revised up from 1.099GW previously.
  • German solar PV capacity stood at 87.58GW as of end of April.
  • Onshore wind additions in April also slowed to the lowest since at least one year to 138MW, compared with 217MW in the previous month.
