Germany Receives First LNG Cargo For Wilhelmshaven


Germany’s news Wilhelmshaven FSRU has received its first tanker and commercial operations are scheduled to start mid-January, according to Uniper.

  • The LNG ship Maria Energy is fully loaded with around 170,000 cubic meters LNG, 97,147,000 cubic meters of natural gas.
  • The first cargo is part of the facility’s commissioning process as commercial operations are scheduled to start mid-January.
  • On 21 Dec, Uniper sent the first LNG regasified at the terminal into the German grid.
