GILT SUMMARY: Gilts have started the morning slightly down but yet to signal any
direction for the day.
- The UK government was defeated last night on amendments to the Finance Bill,
meaning that a 'no deal' Brexit will be harder to implement.
- Brexit Secretary Stephan Barclay will kick of a 5 day debate on Brexit in the
House of Commons today. The 'meaningful vote' set for Tuesday evening after
debating finishes, Cab Min Lidington reemphasised this morning on LBC that
government had no intention to delay it.   
- Labour's Barry Gardiner signalled this morning on BBC R4 that Labour were
ready to table a vote of no confidence in the government should May's Brexit
deal fail to pass. 
- The Mar 19 Gilt future is down 24 ticks at 122.99, 2s10s has flattened by
0.2bps with the 5s30s 1bps steeper.
- Worth noting that amid the renewed Brexit headlines, Nov GDP data is due on
Friday at 0930GMT.
