RENEWABLES: GoldenPeaks Capital Acquires 400MW of Polish Solar, Eyes 1GW

GoldenPeaks Capital has expanded its presence in the Polish solar market, acquiring 400MW of ready-to-build assets from December 2024-January 2025, as part of its strategy to exceed 1GW of solar in Poland by 2025, it said.

  • Most of the solar sites are in western and northwestern Poland, with additional sites across the country, ranging in size up to 58 MW.
  • GPC currently has around 1.7GW in its internal development pipeline and expects to add another 300MW of RtB projects in Poland by the end of 1Q25.
