Goldman Sach Recommends Long THB

THB

Goldman Sachs advocates long THB as signs of a pathway to a new PM begin to emerge.
"Investors should go long THB against USD on Thailand's constructive fundamentals, Goldman Sachs analysts say in a research note. Formation of a new government appears closer with Move Forward Party's candidate indicating that he'll step aside to allow Pheu Thai Party to put forward its prime-minister candidate in a third vote on July 20, if he fails a second vote on July 19, the analysts note. As GS highlighted previously, as long as a government is formed and transition is smooth, this should be supportive of economic growth and bullish for THB, they add. GS recommends a short USD/THB trade with entry at 34.65, target of 32.00 and stop-loss at 36.00."
