Government To Inject Funds To Fuel Stabilization Fund: Marcel

The Government submitted a bill to Congress to increase resources in the fuel price stabilization fund, MEPCO, said the Minister of Finance, Mario Marcel (BBG)

  • The Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies will vote on the bill today and if approved the resources would go from USD750m to USD1,500m.
    • “If these resources are not expanded, fuel prices will rise significantly,” said Marcel.
