Hang Seng Tumbles, Again

The Hang Seng has been under further pressure on Friday, briefly trading less than 100 points above the key psychological 20,000 level (the index has not traded below 20,000 since ’16), shedding over 3.5% on the day after showing through Wednesday’s low. The Hang Seng Tech index leads the way lower on a sector-by-sector basis, given the previously outlined regulatory issues that some Chinese listings face in the U.S. (HS Tech -8.5% on the day at typing).
