Henry Hub Reverses Gains Seen Yesterday

US Henry Hub has reversed the gains from yesterday with steady production and a dip in LNG flows weighed against pipeline maintenance and mixed weather forecasts across the country.

    • US Natgas OCT 23 down -2.9% at 2.76$/mmbtu
    • US Natgas MAR 24 down -0.6% at 3.26$/mmbtu
    • US Natgas SEP 24 down -0.6% at 3.29$/mmbtu
  • US domestic natural gas production is relatively unchanged this week at 101.3bcf/d yesterday compared to the dip to 100.5bcf/d last week and 99bcf/d this time last year.
  • Domestic natural gas consumption is today estimated at 66.3bcf/d after falling to below the five year average for the first time since May at 64.6bcf/d yesterday. The latest NOAA 6-14 day forecast is showing temperatures more strongly above normal in the central areas but have fallen back below normal in western regions.
  • Total natural gas delivery flows to US LNG export terminals are today estimated down at 12.5bcf/d driven by a drop in flows to Cove Point according to Bloomberg.
  • Export flows to Mexico are today estimated at 6.95bcf/d.
