Hungary Should Reduce Budget Gap ‘Cautiously,’ Nagy Says

  • Hungary should narrow the shortfall “cautiously” in order to avert undermining an economic recovery, Economy Minister Marton Nagy told Inforadio yesterday evening. The minister added that the government is in agreement on reducing shortfall this year from an estimated 5.9% of GDP budget gap last year, though debate remains over the pace of the reduction.
