Hungary’s Danube Refinery, Druzhba Pipeline Remain Reduced

Hungary’s Danube refinery in Szazhalombatta is operating at 50-55% capacity due to maintenance, while the Druzhba pipeline that brings Russian crude was also working with reduced capacity, MOL said.

  • "Our experts are working non-stop on the maintenance of the refinery and optimising stocks on a daily basis in order to be able to ship enough fuel all around the country," MOL said.
  • Oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline were temporarily suspended in November after a Russian rocket hit a power station close to the Belarus border. Flows to Hungary have since then been reduced.
