UK VIEW: In reaction to the higher than expected UK service PMI, RBC say that
"overall PMIs offer little resistance to a November rate hike", but remain
"cautious" about the economic outlook with the "all important consumer sector"
losing momentum.
- While Lloyds says that they still expect the BoE to rise rates in November ,
but "continued softness" within the PMI surveys "add some caution over the pace
at which monetary policy maybe tightened in the coming year".
