India’s June Crude Imports Edged Up YoY

India’s crude oil imports in June were up by 0.5% on the year to 19.5mn tons according to government data.

  • Refined product demand rose by 4.3% year on year to 19.3mn tons.
  • India’s exports of petroleum products in June declined by 9% year on year to 5mn tons. Products imports rose by 12.9% year on year to 3.5mn tons.
  • Indian oil throughput in June was flat at 3.5mn ton.
  • Domestic crude oil production in June was also flat on the year at 2.4mn tons.
