India’s March LNG Imports Fall 1% on Year


India’s LNG gas imports declined by 1% on the year in March to 2.522 bcm, according to Bloomberg, cited data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell.

  • This was stable month-on-month however, with February’s imports also 2.533 bcm.
  • Consumption was up by 3% on the year at 5.594 bcm, representing a rise of 3.42% on the month also.
  • Domestic LNG production was up 6% on the year and 6.4% on the month to 3.072 Bcm.
