US DATA: Initial unemployment claims were rose above estimates in the 
March 31 week, +24k to 242k, vs the 225k exp. 
- The 4-wk moving avg +3k to 228,250, and could rise further next week 
as the 226k level in Mar 10 week rolls out if another high print comes 
in. The underlying level of claims remains very low. 
- NSA claims +5,797 to 200,909 in the current week, compared with 
the 14,372 decrease that seasonal factors expected. The current week's 
level is still below the year ago level of 208,347.
- Claims were estimated for Colorado and Maine, and still not returned 
to normal in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. 
- Continuing claims -64k to 1.808m in the March 24 week.
