Iraq and Kurdistan Remain in Talks to Restart Pipeline to Turkey

Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government are still in talks to resume oil flows on the Iraq-Turkey pipeline according to Iraqi oil minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani said in an interview to Rudaw channel.

  • He said they hope to “reach an agreement to resume exports” within the coming days reiterating prior comments this week.
  • Ghani said Iraq and Kurdistan are “serious about resumption of production and exports as soon as possible,” and have “agreed on many points” and “there are some issues that need clarification”
