Irkutsk LNG Plant at Feasibility Study Stage

The project to build an LNG facility in Ust-Kut is still at the feasibility study stage, Deputy general director for production development Alexander Prudnikov said, according to Interfax.

  • "The project for construction of a natural gas liquefaction unit is at the feasibility study stage. Based on the results of the feasibility study, a decision will be made whether we will design and build it," he said.
  • The Irkutsk Oil Company also implied that it is considering the possibility of acquiring a fleet of tank-containers for transportation of the plant's products.
