DOLLAR-YEN: It has been a fairly orderly start to the new week, the dollar
holding a narrow Y112.01 to Y112.22 range. Japan's October Trade Balance
provides the event risk for the session, MNI expects a surplus of Y332.3 bn,
with exports +16.0% from 14.1% in September and imports +21.3% from 12.0%. In
options space, there are a couple of close-by strikes rolling off today at
Y111.90-112.00($1.2bn) and   Y112.30($2.35bn) that may act to contain the
near-term range. Initial resistance lies at Y113.36 (55-dma), while below
Friday's Y111.95 base support is expected near to Y111.76-73 where the 200-dma &
100-dma both reside. Dollar-yen was last at Y112.11.
