Italian Firm Eyes 220MW Romanian Wind Farm Build

Italian firm Alerion Clean Power has been authorized to build two wind farms, with a combined capacity of 220MW, in Romania, according to the firm.

• The firm will build a 114MW and 108MW onshore wind farm in south-eastern Romania.

• The plants will be operational in 2027.

• Alerion is also anticipated to build an additional 116MW onshore wind park in the same area, with approval for the project expected by the end of 2024.
