JAPAN STOCKS: Japanese stocks drop at the start of the afternoon session, the
Nikkei 225 last down 42 points at 19,822.67 after spending the morning session
in positive territory.
- The move lower coincides with the reports that North Korea have threatened to
sink Japan using nukes, which has seen USD/JPY drop from highs of 110.73 to last
trade near session lows of 110.48.
- JGB futures are last near session lows of 150.85, down 9 ticks on the day, but
so far have seen little reaction to the news ahead of the auctions.
