JET FUEL: Global Jet Fuel Demand Down 1.1% on Week: BNEF

Global passenger jet fuel demand is set for another weekly drop in the week to Sep. 2, according to BNEF.

  • Jet fuel demand is seen down 1.1% on the week to 7.06m b/d.
  • All regions except for sub-Saharan Africa are set for a demand fall, with the largest declines in North America and Asia at 36.8k b/d and 25.7k b/d respectively.
  • Sub-Saharan Africa will see a small rise of just 300 b/d.
  • Scheduled domestic flights in China are set for a 2.3% weekly decline in the seven days starting September 3.
