Global passenger jet fuel demand in the week to Oct. 14 is set to remain stable, with a slight on-week dip of 0.1%, according to BNEF.

  • This follows a marginal uptick during the previous week.
  • Consumption will hit 6.8m b/d, up 6.2% on the year.
  • Europe is driving the decline, falling by 41.1k b/d. However, this will be partially offset by gains of 31.1k b/d across Asia and North America combined.
  • China’s domestic flight schedules for Oct. 15-21 are set to fall by over 5% on the week, while international schedules are down around 4%.
