JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures continue to hold lower on the day, with the Nikkei 225 up 1.3%
at writing.
- The space has had little to no reaction to the latest liquidity enhancement
auction for 5-15.5 Year JGBs.
- The cash space has seen yields edge higher in the main. With some modest
underperformance in the belly of the curve.
- The space saw no impact from the latest round of Japanese CPI data, although
MNI understands that the BoJ is increasingly concerned that momentum toward
achieving its 2% price target on the back of the data.
