JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures edged lower in overnight trade, shedding 6 ticks.
- There was little of note on the local news front. The government's latest
draft of policy framework omitted any explicit mention of the government's
target to achieve a primary budget surplus by FY25, as had been previously
suggested in local press reports. A Cabinet official was quick to note that the
omission of the budget surplus target didn't mean the government's fiscal policy
had changed.
- Core machine orders, machine tool orders and 5-Year JGB supply headline the
local docket today.
