JGBS: JGB futures moved lower overnight, in sympathy with Tsys, as the contract
finished 18 ticks lower come the close of overnight trade, just off lows.
- Overnight, NHK noted that the BoJ will reduce next week's meeting to a 1-day
timetable, from the standard 2.
- Elsewhere, early Tokyo hours have seen JiJi suggest that the BoJ is "mulling
additional monetary easing." Focus ahead of next week's meeting has surrounded
the potential for the Bank to move on easing any funding strains evident in
markets e.g. in commercial paper.
- 2-Year supply and flash PMIs headline the local docket today.
