JGBS
JGBS: JGB's have trended lower since the open, some set up in the super long end
in cash JGB's ahead of the 30-Year auction on Thursday.
- JGB futures just off session lows, last at 150.86 after bouncing off the
Alternating Hourly Support/Resistance at 150.84 session low. Next support level
is the 150.75 December 5 Low. MNI technical analysis notes that the lack of
follow through on the dip below 150.84 is less than ideal for bears with the
bounce seeing 151.00 resistance key today. A close below 150.75 is needed to
reconfirm focus on key DMAs.
- BoJ operations unchanged, markets will look ahead to the results of the
purchase operations in the 5-10 sector in particular for direction.
