  • Feb LNG imports from China rose by 15% on the month to 5.5m mt.
  • This follows a new LNG terminal in the nation coming online, which will boost Chima’s imports further.
  • China's largest energy producer, CNPC, said it expects gas imports to rise by 8.2% to 179.1 bcm in 2024.
