Kazakhstan Oil Production Still Not Fully Recovered

Kazakhstan oil production has still not fully recovered after last week’s power cut halted activity for a short period.

  • Oil production was at 238,100 tons on Tuesday, compared to 252,600 tons on 2 July – just prior to the power cut. Production fell as low as 200,100 tons July 5.
  • Operations at the KazTransOIl Oil Pumping Station in Aryrau and Mangistau regions, Kazakhstan, which temporarily stopped after the power outage, have been fully restored according to a company press release this week.
