Kuwait Crude Export Fall To Over One-Year Low

Kuwait’s crude exports fell to the lowest level since October 2021 in December as shipments to China, India and South Korea declined, tanker-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg show.

  • Total crude shipments from Kuwait fell to around 1.8mbpd last month, from 1.94mbpd in November.
  • Cargoes to China fell by 468kbpd and by 153kbpd to India.
  • Shipments headed for Japan, Myanmar and Vietnam increased.
