CABLE: Late Asia demand managed to extend cable's recovery off Monday's low of
$1.2913 to $1.2940 before momentum faded. Rate currently trades around $1.2926.
As cable eased lower so Eur/Gbp edge higher, currently around Gbp0.9209, though
holds off its earlier high of Gbp0.92125. Traders aware that the cross has a
large Gbp0.9200 strike option set to expire at today's NY cut, E1.55bn, which
could act to anchor this rate close by. Cable support remains at $1.2913 through
to $1.2900 ($1.2906 Sep1 low). Resistance $1.2965/70.
