POWER: Lithuanian Eyes €102mn BESS Tender "Soon"

Lithuanian is expected to launch a tender to support the expansion of battery storage in the country “soon,” with maximum aid funding of 30% of the investment costs, the Lithuanian Energy Ministry said today.

  • The €102mn call for proposal is expected “later this year” and will be done through the Environmental Project Management Agency.
  • The country aims to install 800MWh of battery storage capacity by the end of 2028.
