Liz Truss MP has been confirmed by No. 10 as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, succeeding Dominic Raab.
- Truss remains Minister for Women and Equalities, with her post as Secretary of State for International Trade becoming vacant.
- With Priti Patel remaining in place at the Home Office, this marks the first time in UK history that two of the three 'great offices of state' (Chancellor of the Exchequer, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary) have been held by women at the same time.
