LNG
The total estimated quantity of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 20 days rose again by 16% last week to the highest since November to 4.67m tons as of June 16, according to Bloomberg estimates.
- Volumes at sea are well above the normal seasonal range amid muted European LNG demand and ongoing vessel diversions. The five-year seasonal average volume is 2.31m tons.
- The estimated volume of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 30 days was also higher on the week at 1.79m tons compared to 1.65m tons a week earlier.
