LNG Capacity at Eemshaven Fully Operation Late Nov/Early Dec

The new Dutch LNG import terminal at Eemshaven is expected to run at full capacity by the end of November or early December.

  • The facility received its first LNG cargo September 8 from the Sabine Pass in the US which. The cargo is expected to shortly flow into the Gasunie grid.
  • "Various technical activities will continue over the next few weeks. The LNG terminal is expected to be operating at full capacity by the end of November/beginning of December," Gasunie said.
  • Eemshaven comprises of two FSRUs with a combined capacity of 8 Bcm/year, 3 Bcm/year of which has been booked by the Czech Republic. It is designed as an integral way for the region moving away from Russian flows.
