LNG
The total estimated quantity of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 20 days increased by 8.2% last week to 4.29m tons as of Aug 4, according to Bloomberg estimates.
- Volumes at sea have been gradually rising since mid July to hold well above the previous five year range for the time of year but remain below a peak of 4.83m tons in late June. The five-year seasonal average volume is around 1.93m tons.
- The estimated volume of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 30 days has also risen slightly on the week to 1.78m tons compared to 1.71m tons a week earlier.
