LNG: LNG at Sea At Least 20 Days Rises 3.5% in Week to Sept. 29

LNG floating storage has risen again in the last week to continue the trend in place since mid August ahead of the upcoming winter heating season.
- The quantity of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 20 days has risen 3.5% on the week to 4.44m tons as of Sept. 29 although still below a high of 4.58m tons from Sept. 14, according to Bloomberg estimates.
- Volumes at sea are well above the previous five year range for the time of year of around 2.44m tons.
- The estimated volume of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 30 days is also up on the week from 1.83m tons to 2.18m tons and just below the highest since early July.
