The final investment decision for the Mexico LNG export project is being impacted by the Biden administration pause on permitting on new US export sites, said ConocoPhillips Senior VP Andy O’Brien cited by Bloomberg.

  • Mexico Pacific requires US approval to transport natural gas from US to Mexico for LNG export.
  • Mexico Pacific already has LNG offtake deals in place with Exxon, Shell, and China’s Zhejiang Energy and Guangzhou Development Gas Trading.
